Specialist Sandtray Therapy Practitioner Training Module 2
2 day face to face classroom training (20 hours work placement) and online assessments
Hands-on experience of Sandtray, with role plays, exercises, case studies and group discussions about the role of the therapist, client issues and how to approach sandtray therapy. Students will learn to set up a Sandtray room or travel resources if working in schools or other. Every student will have the ability to learn how to implement the sandtray into their own unique field of expertise.
Description
Module 2 –
CST2 – Conduct Sandtray Therapy
Students will experience simulated off-the-job training using role plays. There will be continuous feedback from group, peers and your trainer. Your work is supported by theoretical case studies in the form of photo slides and presentations. All students will be encouraged to bring their own unique experiences and skill sets into this very hands-on module. Students will be encouraged to keep a journal, this will help to consolidate your reflective practice.
There is a 20 hours or work placement added to unit. Students will be asked to complete a log book to record their 20 hours. Students will be supported in integrating Sandtray work into current workplace settings.
